About Zocklein & Associates
Zocklein & Associates has been offering grant writing and resource development training to nonprofit organizations, government agencies and schools since January, 1995. To date, more than 70,000 people have been trained in over 3000 workshops and conferences held in 38 states and the District of Columbia.
The purpose of our training is to equip nonprofit organizations, government agencies and schools with the tools to achieve and maintain fiscal stability in order to carry out their mission in service to the community. We teach participants to use grants as a way to launch a program and then secure long-term funding to insure program continuance after the grant money is gone. This long-term funding plan, Circle of Resource Entanglements or C.O.R.E., diversifies resources and reduces grant dependency. The C.O.R.E. can also be used to increase unrestricted funds.
The training includes an overview of new 501c3 nonprofit corporation start-up procedures. This is of particular interest to tax supported agencies or schools which can augment their programs with private contributions made to a “Friends of…”. We estimate that an average of two participants per workshop have formed new nonprofit organizations over the past twelve years.
Zocklein & Associates’ alumni are permitted to return to the training for a minimal fee. Alumni may also call for technical assistance at no charge.
Returning alumni frequently report success in their grant writing bringing valuable programs, capital projects and increased resources to their communities. Many pursue careers in grant writing as development directors, free-lance grant writers or nonprofit consultants.
This training has been certified for continuing education credit in the past by: the Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania Credentialing Boards for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Professionals; the Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board; the Indiana, Kentucky, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas Chapters of the National Association of Social Workers; and the Indiana and Pennsylvania Professional Standards Boards for Education.
Every workshop closes with a prayer because there is no greater resource than a power greater than ourselves.
